Jaquet Droz has partnered with a collector to create the Petite Heure Minute Red Gold – Japanese Garden, a landmark in artistic craftsmanship. The watch features 25 appliques, most carved and engraved from mother-of-pearl, affixed to a dial made entirely of the same material. Each detail is executed by hand to within a tenth of a millimetre, showcasing the precision of master goldsmiths. Ultra-white mother-of-pearl from the Pacific forms the dial itself, not merely decoration.
